Scott started teaching Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in 2002 at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena, the first established school in the West of Scotland.
Promoted to black belt in 2011 ( by Royce Gracie)
Awarded Professor rank and 1st degree black belt in 2018 ( by Master Rickson Gracie)
Certified Kettlebell Instructor (by Steve Maxwell)
President of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Scotland (under JJGF)

Owner and Head instructor at Connection Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
Scott has over the years trained with many members of the Gracie family directly, including Royce, Rolker, Rodrigo and Royler Gracie.
As well as having the honour off the mat, of going to dinner with Grandmaster Helio Gracie in 2006.
More recently, these past 12 years, establishing Connection Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Glasgow Scotland has been his main focus.
Under the direct guidance of Master Rickson Gracie himself, Scott has been very fortunate to also learn from Kron Gracie in Los Angeles, USA, where he is a regular visitor.
Master Pedro Sauer, Professor Luis Heredia and Professor Steve Maxwell are all regular visitors to Connection.
Other notable visitors include celebrity Anthony Bourdain who Scott trained whilst he was filming his TV show in Scotland.
Scott has travelled to Japan, Holland and both coasts of the USA to learn directly from Master Rickson and is passionate about sharing this knowledge with his students at Connection.
