Scott is the only professor in the UK to be promoted to Black Belt 1st Degree and awarded Professor rank directly by Master Rickson Gracie.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Scott has trained with many members of the Gracie family including Royce, Rolker, Rodrigo, and Royler Gracie.
